Outdoor activities abound in the area of Lake Kachess. Summer fun includes fishing, boating and water skiing, with lake access at the nearby state campground. There are also hiking and mountain biking trails within minutes of the house. In the winter, numerous snowmobile and cross country skiing trails are located in the area, with several downhill ski areas about a 15 minute drive to nearby Snoqualmie Pass.

The house is on a water front property and perched high above the lake. The hike down to the lake is steep but you are reward with a small sandy beach at certain times of the year. Other times the water is higher and you can pull your boat up closer to the shore. There is no dock but this is private property and you are rewarded with privacy and stunning views from the home..

Two new golf courses and a restaurant are also available at the newly developed Suncadia Resort, located in the quaint old coal mining town of Roslyn, about a 20 minute drive east of Lake Kachess. All that the city of Seattle has to offer are also within a short drive of just over one hour from Lake Kachess.
